Is to develop youth mountain biking communities across the Central Coast. In each community we create, we use mountain biking to build resilience, promote a healthy, active lifestyle, foster community, and deepen environmental appreciation.

Everest Mueller,Ph.D.

Founder, President & Executive Director

Everest Mueller, Ph.D., holds a doctorate in Educational Neuroscience from UCLA and has over 20 years of experience in teaching, coaching, counseling, and the non-profit sector. He has founded multiple non-profit organizations and worked internationally in Haiti, where he built an INGO focused on educational development. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to education and social impact. In addition to his professional achievements, Dr. Mueller is an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying activities such as mountain biking, camping, and adventure. His extensive background in education and international development shapes his approach to guiding organizations toward meaningful change. Dr. Mueller brings a unique blend of academic expertise and hands-on experience to his work.

Jim Rider,CPA

Treasurer

Jim specialized in taxation and has owned his own firm for 17 years.Mr. Rider has advised on business succession planning, sales and acquisitions, and complex like-kind exchanges. He served for eight years on the California Board of Accountancy's Enforcement Advisory Committee. He taught accounting at California State University, Fullerton, and taxation at UCLA. Mr. Rider is a member of the Tax Division of the AICPA and the California Society of CPAs. He holds a Master of Business Taxation from USC and has been active in community service, including coaching, teaching and serving on this board.

Scott Lewis,JD

Secretary

Scott Lewis is a retired lawyer and educator who is also a long-time outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys hiking, backpacking, cross-country skiing and of course cycling.
